Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join us to continuously add value by providing objective and innovative business analysis services to a market leading organisation.

In this role you will have responsibility for:

Business Analysis

  • Understanding commercial drivers, marketing propositions and the impact of new initiatives on different areas of the business.
  • Analysing business problems and using techniques such as gap analysis to drive change and meet strategic goals.
  • Translating business needs into requirements to ensure a great customer/hotelier experience across all The LateRooms Group brands.
Analysis governance
  • Using appropriate analysis methods, tailoring the approach to meet business needs.
  • Aligning analysis activities with other IT professional groups, eg.architecture, development and test/Q&A.
  • Producing high quality analyst deliverables.
Relationship Management
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders within your Programme of work.
  • Responding and adapting to changing needs and priorities.
  • Supporting the partnership between the business and IT to assess solution options and drive the right outcomes.

We're looking for people who are educated to degree level, ISEB certified and hold relevant Agile qualifications.

You will have previous experience of working as a Business Analyst within a web or rich interactive UI application environment. You will also have knowledge and experience of a range of business analysis methods within a complex organisation. Experience of agile development is also required.

The key skills for this role are:

  • Variety of analysis expertise ie alignment of analysis activities with organizational strategy and business benefits, project scoping and shaping, process analysis, IT requirements definition, etc.
  • Experience of the end-to-end software development life cycle ie high level scoping and shaping through to more detailed analysis.
  • Good working knowledge of the Agile environment eg Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to evaluate complex business scenarios, assess different perspectives and take ownership of all business analysis activities.
  • Ability to facilitate the prioritisation of requirements and keep the team focused on where the true value lies.
  • Deliver high quality analysis and a great customer experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of business stakeholders and influence the right outcomes for The LateRooms Group.
  • Ability to present solutions options to the business and manage expectations.
  • Ability to support assessment of project risks and issues.
  • Experience of multitasking and delivering to tight deadlines within an evolving business.
