2011 Tony Awards Winners List Plus Photo Gallery and Video Highlights

Did you catch the Tony Awards last night? If you missed it, no worries, we’ve got the full winners list, a photo gallery and videos of highlights from last night’s spectacular event! Ratings were down a bit from last year, 6.9 million viewers compared to last year’s 7 million, but with ABC airing the Championship game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat at the same time, it’s understandable. Neil Patrick Harris rocked the house as host, as usual. I didn’t expect anything less. He was fantastic! Just check out the opening number in the first video below. The Book of Mormon, which won for Best Musical and came away with an additional eight awards, won the most Tonys for the evening. Creators of the musical, Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame, are still reeling from their wins, with Parker telling reporters last night, “I don?t think it?s really hit me yet, but like Matt [Stone] was saying, this whole experience has been such a reward.” War Horse took home five awards, including Best Play.
